Exeter Centurions ran up a record score without getting out of second gear as they beat the North Devon Raiders 74-8 at Grace Road on Saturday.
Exeter had the dream start against the Raiders as Alex Stevens crossed in the first minute.
Will Norton and Brent Ryan followed him over in the next 10 minutes but they only added one more try before the break as they led 22-8.
However, Exeter scored 10 tries in the second half — three of them going to half-back Ryan.
Alex Ford, Andy Alderman and Matt Coldrey bagged braces with Stevens adding his second late on for a personal tally of 26 points, a club record. Dan Mountstevens added two conversions.
