DEVON SHARKS were formed in 2006 as part of an initiative from the Rugby Football League to form new clubs for the Summer Rugby League Conference. Originally set up at Newton Abbot All Whites Rackerhayes ground, in 2008 the Sharks re-located to their own ground at Easterfields Lane, overlooking Torbay. In 2009, the club exceeded all expectations, winning the South West Grand Final and reaching the National Semi Final at Harlequins Twickenham Stoop. SHARKS WEBSITE HERE |
| EXETER CENTURIONS are based at Flowerpots Field near St.Davids Station and were formed by ex Basingstoke Beasts founder Joe Catcheside. Despite a relative lack of success on the field, the Centurions are one of the more progressive sides in the Rugby League Conference - co hosting the 2009 South West Nines competition and travelling to Weymouth last year to play newboys South Dorset Giants in their foundation year. They had their best ever season in 2009, reaching the play offs and South West Cup Final. |

EXETER UNIVERSITY are members of the Student Rugby League and currently holders of the South West Nines trophy which they won beating Exeter Centurions in the 2009 final at Duckes Meadow. The Student Rugby League runs from October to March and so the EURL club is the only non-Summer Club in the South West Region. EURL WEBSITE HERE |
| EAST DEVON EAGLES are current South West Cup holders after defeating the Exeter Centurions in August's Final at Plymouth Albion's Brickfields ground. Based at Exmouth RFC's Imperial Ground, the Eagles draw heavily on the "Cockles" for their playing strength. Formed in 2006, the Eagles were Devon Cup winners in 2006 and 2007 and completed the 2009 regular season unbeaten before going down to the Devon Sharks in the Grand Final. EAGLES WEBSITE HERE |

PLYMOUTH TITANS were formed back in 1985 to compete in the winter MASWARLA League and joined the Rugby League Conference in 2004. Based at Plymouth Albion's Brickfields ground, the Titans were crowned South West Champions in 2007 and reached the semi finals of the National Play-offs. After a difficult 2009, the club will be back for their 25th anniversary year in 2010. TITANS WEBSITE HERE |
| SOMERSET VIKINGS joined the Rugby League Conference in 2003 and are based at Taunton RFC's Hyde Park ground. Originally, the Vikings playing strength was based on the local Royal Marines barracks but now the club is more civillian based and after a season in the Midlands Premier Division in 2007, the Vikings returned to the South West Division in 2008. |

SOUTH DORSET GIANTS are the newest club in the South West Division,being formed in 2008 at Weymouth RFC's Monmouth Avenue ground. The Giants played four games in their inaugural season with a 50% success rate but found life in the RLC a little tougher. GIANTS WEBSITE HERE |
